The Responsible AI Movement is a non-profit global collective on a mission to make AI ethics more practical. No funding, no staff — seven volunteers running a workgroup, a speaker series and a community of more than 800 people building with AI.

How we work

A small volunteer group, an open community around it.

Nobody here is paid and there is no budget to allocate. The work happens in two layers: a workgroup of seven volunteers who research risks, write up mitigations and maintain the framework, and an open community of more than 800 practitioners who bring the cases, argue the trade-offs and pressure-test what we publish.

More than 800 designers, developers, researchers and product managers on Discord — where sessions are announced, dilemmas get posted, and drafts get reviewed before they ship.
